Re Maud and Harold -
I can't even see Mr Hull marrying a Maud with any surname she could have had from a previous marriage. Not per FreeBMD, anyway - assuming only one previous marriage.

Researching:
Old genealogists never die.....they just lose their census.

Hello everyone. I had to log off unexpectedly last night. Thank you all for the information above. I wonder if someone could have a look at the probate date for Lila's father, Thomas Harrison Byers who died 1914 (from Ancestry) then I can send for the two Wills. Thank you. PS this is just a quick post as I'm at work but about to finish so will pick up tonight after tea. Thanks.
