I am trying to fill in some missing details for this family, coming forward.

Full name William Nicholas Strangeways, though sometimes spelt Strangeway.
Born 1839 Sunderland.
1841 census Easingwold, Yorks, with his parents and siblings
1851 census Hunslet, Yorks with his parents and siblings

Like his father he was a tax inspector and moved around a lot.

1863 married Emma Peachey in Hackney, she appears to be from Dalston, Middlesex, though I can't find a birth record for her.

1866 William Nicholas junior born Ardsley, Yorks. Died 1877 Darlington
1868 Emma born Barnsley, Yorks. Died 1877 Darlington
1870 Alice born Newcastle
1871 census family lived in Darlington
1872 - 1976 3 children born Darlington. Margaret Ada, Bertram Peachey, Agnes
1878 Ernest born Stockport
1879 Leonard Ralph born Newcastle
1881 census family lived Elswick, Newcastle
1882-1886 children born Newcastle Ellen and Grace. Ellen died 1884
1891 census Family lived Eccleshall, Staffs.
1901 census Mum Emma and some children living in Hornsey, Middlesex
Father appears to be in St Mary's, Glamorgan
1911 census some family living in Muswell Hill, Hornsey. I have details for most of the others.
