As I posted:
Cumbria Marriage indexes for the years: 1896
Surname Forename(s) Surname Forename(s) Church / Register Office Registers At Reference
OWENS William H COWAN Urenica Barrow-in-Furness Register Office or Registrar Attended Cumbria Certificate Services C1/12/129

The import of this is that it's unlikely there's any record in a parish register - there could be if it were a non-conformist marr in, say, some methodist chapel - the chapel might have kept unofficial records of its marrs - the official record would be in the registrar's register, mixed in with the rego office marrs - as non-conformists (excl jews & quakers) were not authorized to keep official regos pre 1898. However, it's probably a rego office marr, so the only places to get those are from the local office that now holds the regos (Cumbria Certificate Services here) or the more convenient GRO:
http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/
You can order online from the GRO, and they'll send you a paper cert - the cost is 9.25 GBP, world-wide postage included - this is usually the easiest, and usually marginally cheaper.

EDIT
A lookup at http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl gets the ordering details you need for the marr.

Surname First name(s) District Vol Page
Marriages Mar 1896 (>99%)
Cowan Ureniea Barrow F. 8e 1088
Owens William Henry Barrow F. 8e 1088
PARK John Barrow F. 8e 1088
Rogers Elizabeth Barrow F. 8e 1088

I would just order in Wm's name - spell stuff as written - say you've got the reference when asked, as it's all given above.
Since you're spending money, you should definitely click on the spectacles on the FreeBMD hit to check they've transcribed stuff correctly.
When you've been at it a while, you'll learn you should always check against the image whenever you can - mistranscriptions are far from rare.
