Well Done Eringobragh, I did see a birth for Elizabeth M Hollis in 1880 Belfast but it didn't actually give me the parents details...I must be looking in all the wrong places! where did you find it?? How would I obtain the original, or can it be viewed?? :-)

Well guys!! looks like I might have been pushing my luck with a birth record of Elizabeth Mary Hollis!! But a huge big thank you for all your input and efforts with the information you found on Samuel Hollis, now I know why he wasn't on the 1871 1881 and 1891 census.... Had look at the marriage document and I see that both the witnesses and Samuel got married at the same time, and Samuel and Mary Ann Ryan were witnesses to their marriage.. Don't suppose anyone can find their daughter Elizabeth Mary Hollis birth in Belfast 1880 ????? <3

His marriage certificate to Annie Stewart in 1896 lists his occupation as "pensioner" I think, it could be "messenger" its hard to make out, at first I thought it said "prisoner" anyhow his father is listed as James (deceased) :-S
