Death cert shows - William Mayers did indeed die aged 16 of epilepsy in Neath Higher, that he was son of a deceased coal miner John Mayers - as reported by Elizabeth Bowen (his grandmother on maternal side) who was present at death though unable to write. |

Sorry. The William Mayers aged 16 who died in Neath Higher died on 30th JUne1865. |
