Maybe Agnes's gypsy background explains the change of occupation for Walter and a showman would travel around which could explain the move to Tyneside.

Yes, Steve, place of birth unknown. Ancestry gives Rosanah as Warren's mother but there is nothing on the image to show that. Also on the page is another gypsy family, the Fletchers but nothing to indicate a relationship to the Hodkinsons.
