I am trying to find the birth of the above lady please, born about 1824, Salisbury Wiltshire...
She married George T Hillier about 1844, according to the 1861 census they were living in Southampton, Parish St Mary's, Ecc dis Trinity...

This looks like them even though Sarah does not seem to have aged in 10years!!
Alice and Emma are also younger than they should be.

Could this be her? 1871 says she was born in Hampshire but others say Wiltshire?

This one was living in the right area and was NOT born in the County, unlike the rest of her family.

Hello Tom, have you actually bought the 1844 marriage certificate to see who her father was?

That might at least be of some help if you search parish records for her birth.

It looks possible that her sister(?) Elizabeth Pollard married at the same time to John West,

I would imagine that Emma and Elizabeth were sisters after finding this birth,

Actually, having looked again at the image of the 1841 census I posted above for Emma Pollard, I find her father's name has been mistranscribed as Joseph when it is actually JOSIAH !!

I know it is her birth you are looking for but if we know the parents names it will help.

He also has quite an unusual middle came which could be useful !
