If anything does come to light then I'll let you know. ArgyllGran may well be right in that she just changed her surname because of her criminal past. I don't suppose in those days you had to produce any documents to show who you really were? Am now trying to find a picture of the paddle steamer, The Richard Young that Isabella was a stewardess on. I have found the info on the steamer but not a picture as yet. What am I like?!!!!!

Kind regards

Kathryn

I'll keep trucking with Isabella. Still searching for a photo of the Richard Young. Have just looked at a couple of sites and they talk about it but as yet no pictures.

Kind regards

Poor Reginald 1875 had an eventful life as you know.
On one of the rescue ships for the Titanic and then getting caught in that terrible explosion in Halifax Nova Scotia resulting in his death in 1917.

Poor man and of course his family.

Hi Mary, yes it very sad. Some of my ancestors make very interesting reading and a majority of them had a high old time. I thought when I was born (1949) and lived life in the 60's things were shunned upon but some of my ancestors had lovers and some had children out of wedlock. It's amazing what things come out of the woodwork. I just love researching but when I really get stuck I ask for help. Thank you again for your time and help. Please feel free to browse my tree on Ancestry if you can access it. My tree on GR is very limited and unfortunately I don't have the time to build on it right now so I keep adding to my Ancestry one.

I may well not be around much more on the computer tonight as my other half is getting ready to go beach fishing so I'm going to sort him out some food etc to take and then settle down myself to watch some TV. Will check tomorrow for any messages.

Kind regards

Kathryn
