thank's for this info,it could be a big help maria was my ggrandmother's sister.

on the posting for Michael ( 1911 i think) the address 1 henry st is very interesting as my ggrandmother lived on henry st when she died in 1910,her son my grandfather was 17 at the time ,he was living her sister ( not maria ) on henry st.
so i think these are the correct record's for my family,

What did you think of the suggestions about possible remarriage of the mother Maria and that possible marriage etc for Michael

i am still having trouble finding this family on the 1851 census, are the census record's on here the same as other site's,
i have tried looking for the family in Bradford and in Oldham,
i have looked under the parent's name's also the 2 children born 1842/3 and 1849.
please could someone see if they can locate them please.

I don't think Michael is the son of Thomas and Mary.

The age of 6 months on the 1891 census is consistent with the birth record that Glitterbaby posted.

Not only had she already been dead for at least 6 months when he was born she was also a tad old (not altogether impossible age-wise but I think she would have had to be alive!)

He is more likely the son of one of the daughters - the middle name of Grady might be an indication as to his father.

The 1861 census on Ancestry has the correct transcription COONEY although I must say it does look like CORNEY on the image
