Find Ancestors

could someone please see if they can find the census record's for this family.
I have Thomas cooney born 1842 Bradford Yorkshire,
I can get him on the 1891 census as a widower & his wife mary dying in 1891,
he is listed with quite a few of his children in oldhamwere they were all born,his youngest is Michael born 1891.thomas died in 1894 so what happened to the children,i have looked for Michael in 1901 census but got no return's.

there seem's to be a gap with the census record's from 1851-1891 I cannot seem to find Thomas as a child,i was trying to find out his parent's from the record's but I have drawn a blank on the census record's.

any help would be most welcome.

Do you have any certs such as the marriage one or any of the births certs for the children

the 1891 is the family,he is my gg grandfather and I have just started looking at Thomas to get further back,
1861 give's his parent's which is brilliant as I now have extra name's to match on any record's I find,

The 1861 census on Ancestry has the correct transcription COONEY although I must say it does look like CORNEY on the image

I don't think Michael is the son of Thomas and Mary.

The age of 6 months on the 1891 census is consistent with the birth record that Glitterbaby posted.

Not only had she already been dead for at least 6 months when he was born she was also a tad old (not altogether impossible age-wise but I think she would have had to be alive!)

He is more likely the son of one of the daughters - the middle name of Grady might be an indication as to his father.
