Many Thanks to you all for the new information, it has given me something to work on for this 'lost' branch of the family. As James and Adelle buried same plot that would confirm he is the right husband. Also as James was a dental student the search for a possible child would obviously be to start with the dental route

Regarding Headley I did find references to her but year of birth and death were different - my conclusion was also that Headley had been mistakenly linked to Dailey.

I had also previously contacted the University but the only thing they confirmed was that Adelle Gensemer Dailey was originally Adelle South Gensemer b1916 - I did also find a reference on the web mentioning Adelle South Gensemer Dailey so I was 99% sure it was the right Adelle anyway.

Date:Friday, January 9, 1987
Location:Kentucky
Paper:Lexington Herald-Leader (KY)

Adelle G. Dailey, 70, of 1703 Versailles Road, a retired University of
Kentucky music librarian, aunt of (NAME OMITTED-will send by PM), died yesterday at St. Joseph Hospital. No services have been scheduled. W.R. Milward Mortuary -- Broadway in charge of arrangements.
