Stay safe LK - hope OH arrives for you soon !!! <3 <3 <3

Ooohh ! - Why don't you move away from London ???

It is much safer out here and when you sell your house and move away you will be quite rich too !

My 2 year old (almost 3) grandson is VERY astute !! - I think he is way ahead of his time ??

Grand-daughter was over yesterday and we made cakes.

We took them home to mum, dad and brother.

She told them that they had two each and grandson said - 'just one please' !!

He had that and then said he wanted more.

We told him "you said you only wanted one" and he said " No - just one at a time" - Can I have another one now ??

Priceless, I thought !!!

We would of course! :-D

Got my granddaughter here overnight and have just watched Legally Blonde with her......we've long grown out of baby films.......sigh.

I live in Kent near Bexleyheath.

It is a quietish Road so chance of trouble is low.

I just work in Charlton.

We were caught between several pockets.

OH was with me -just finishing letters.

talked to OH's cousin this morning

She'd emailed us a couple of weeks ago, but replying to it slipped through our "to do" list.

she had breast cancer 6 years ago, went through chemo etc

was then put on a preventive drug

came off it in January, everything checked as good

had gall stone problem a few weeks ago, her doctor was a bit suspicious and had her blood checked every day for a week

something strange

sent her for a scan

she has tumours on her liver and in her spine.

She had a big dose of radiation on the spine, then started chemo

she has had 2 treatments, the third is next week.

Her husband said that they have been told that it is "control only, not cure".

it really looks as thought the preventive drug just controlled the cancer cells and they went wild when she stopped taking it.

The people at Christies aere amazed to see her back, they really thought she was one of their success stories.

A friend just posted this on FB thought I would share

THE RIOTERS PRAYER
Our father, who art in prison
My mum knows not his name
Thy Riots come
Read it in the Sun
In Birmingham, as it is in London
Give us this day our Welfare bread
And forgive us our looting
As we're happy to loot those who defend stuff against us
Lead us not into employment but deliver us free housing
For thine is the tv's, the Burberry & the Barcardi
Forever and ever.

At least 1 person today was seen with jeans splattered with the orange dye in some security tags. He just wore them as they were.

This is OH's status in another place

I'm truly gratified that the youth near my work seem to be really upping their game as regards their personal appearance. No longer are they wearing the're older brothers hand me downs but smart brand spanking new designer gear.... brand new, top of the range, trainers, by the likes of Nike, Adidas and Reebok, Shiny Gold and Black Adidas caps under their new hoodies. When I think of the sacrifices they must have made to take such care it warms my heart........

Good morning all - I seem to have had a 'lie-in' !!

I didn't know anything about it at the time 'coz I was asleep, but when I woke up it was very late so I MUST have had one :-D

So sorry you are feeling poorly Sylvia - hope you will be better in the morning! <3

Lovely breakfast Persie - Thank you !

I am going to have what Ginns is having it looks delicious - I will have mine on toast though as I can't eat savoury things with croissants, they just don't seem to go together.. yukkk !

It's like I can't eat jam on bread - I can eat it in cakes but not in bread coz one is sweet and the other 'savoury' ??

A few slices of bacon on top for me too ............. heaven !!!

Thanks Persie,

Dea x
