We have located Derek James Gash Birth certificate. Mother's Maiden Name James
Cert record Derek J Gash 1929 Jan - Mar Mother James Swansea Vol 11a Page 1554.

We have established that the Gash known as Bill thought be William is in fact Derek James Gash(born 1929). Son of Albert Victor Gash & Gladys Eleanor James.

We now have correct birth cert ref for Derek James Gash 1929 Mqtr Vol 11a page1554

We now know Derek James Gash b 1929 is son of Albert Victor Gash and Gladys Eleanor James.
He is in fact the son we thought was Bill and guessed his name was William is now Derek James Gash.
This matter is now cleared up thanks to all concerned

Thank you to all the contributors regarding Derek James Gash born Jan- Mar qtr 1929.His Mother Gladys Eleanor James.Father Albert Victor Gash.
We still don't know if Derek Married and we don't know if he is alive or whether he has passed away. We have written letters to some possible addresses but all have been ignored.
Can anybody help? Did he have any children? Did he ever get married? Is he alive or dead?
