Perhaps you could try contacting the Widnes Historical Society?
http://www.widneshistoricalsociety.org.uk/
(Though there doesn't seem to be a lot on their website.)

Or the family history group:
http://www.widnes.liverpool-genealogy.org.uk/

Try asking local libraries about electoral rolls.

I think asking at local libraries in the Widnes area is a good idea- they may be able to point you in the right direction- however-

I've just been reading a post on another site that suggests the electoral registers for the dates you require may be missing, but years from 1934 onwards may be available. Fingers crossed this isn't the case, although it might be still worth checking who was at the address in later years.

Just another thought- I'm not Catholic, so this might be rubbish (and I hope someone with more knowledge can help!), but at confirmation is a name added?? I have a feeling my neighbour has her confirmation name as her middle name- although this isn't listed on her birth certificate. Could she have just been Marion Harvey? Or Marianne/ Mary Ann variants?

It might worth enquiring at the Lancashire Records Office about catholic baptism records:
http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/libraries-and-archives/archives-and-record-office.aspx

Also, just bear in mind, the year of birth could be wrong- I have a two death certificates from my family that were a year out on the DOB.

Could Elizabeth M Worrall who married Joseph Locke be related to Marion? Maybe a sister or cousin?

Vanessa, Elizabeth is a relation of Thomas.

How do you know she was adopted? Where did the story of her being brought up by Nuns comes from?
