There was something sad about that song. I looked for the meaning and there were various ideas floating about.
What I got out of it, was when a child gets to the point when he / she sees that an adored parent has flaws.

With Welsh Rugby in mind- The next T song is dedicated to a hero of mine- The Legendary RAY GRAVELL!

This wonderful man went to school with my brother. I knew him a little as well. through my job at the local newspaper, and when he moved into our village for a short while.

At the age of 18 in 1976, I lost my father (who had raised myself and my brother as a single parent) in a fire at our home. My brother in particular lost everything.
Ray Gravell kitted my brother out from head to toe with a new rugby kit!

He was a wonderful man! When he had his leg amputated, he was at our village carnival in a wheelchair, in the pouring rain, judging competitions and giving out prizes. He died not long afterwards!
