Asked family members - they don't know. She married a man surname Wilburn 1968. Looked on Electoral Roll - a Priscilla living in Lincoln shown as still being in Lincoln 2017 but under name of Smith. May be divorced and reverted back to Smith ??? Parents both deceased. One sibling in New Zealand other in UK.

Hi, yes that's Priscilla's father. Helen was Palestinian and they married over there just as World War II ended. They came back to Lincolnshire and Priscilla grew up with my husband. As children they then moved to different parts of the area, drifted apart and he has not seen her since.

Would it be worth getting the death cert to see who the informant was

The man who married Smith in 1968 seems to have re-married in 1973

He is on the ER to 2010 with wife and children

The informant was his wife Helen. No don't know what the V is. Can try and find out though.

Thank you so much. We were thinking along the lines of Priscilla's name relating to possibly someone in their family. We think her grandfather may have married someone by the name of Violet but have no concrete evidence yet.

Possibly. We know her sister went to live in Jersey and then New Zealand where she still is but there has been no mention of any other family members being abroad.

Does the name Mangon mean anything? The child born in 1980 was registered with 2 surnames.

No it doesn't unfortunately. How strange - the only reason I have come across that happening before is if a child was put up for adoption and the birth certificate was adapted. We believe Priscilla reverted back to 'Smith' after divorcing Wilburn.
