Can anybody help me find the above person please? She lived in the Belsize Park area of Hampstead and had an older sister (name escapes me). I can't trace a definite marriage for her and am wondering if she was known as Ann but that was her second christian name. If she married before being old enough to vote then that is why I can't trace her. Has anybody got any suggestions please? Thanks in anticipation. Regards Jennifer :-( |

Yes - she was. We were classmates. If it was December then she may not have been registered until quarter 1 in 1939. Thanks for your interest |

Where I remember she lived was Belsize Lane Hampstead and according to the electoral registers her parents could be George P Smith and May M Smith. Their children were George TE, Wm JP, Kathleen and a Margaret A. SO I AM NOW WONDERING IF THE MARGARET A WAS MY MISSING ANN |

Thanks for that. It is worth a try. I have just sent an email to the man you suggested. I think I am looking for a needle in a haystack with an "Ann Smith" search - so I am grateful for all the help I can get. |
