thanks for all that but I do have it all. Sorry I did not confirm Tom and Clara were siblings.
The Jowle name was sometimes spelt as Joule.
I am trying to track down any of the remaining family and have only today been in contact with the Heritage Centre in Glossop, Derbyshire which is where Tom lived. They have a family history section and some very keen. knowledgable people involved. the guy I spoke to today says it is very likely they will be able to identify some of the people as they see thousands of old photos where the people are known. I certainly want to see the album returned to someone closer to the family than me but we have to track them down first.
I am, scanning the photos in to PC and emailing to heritage Centre so that is a start.

Thank you I did know all that.
Now in touch with Glossop Heritage Sntre and emailing them the photos and they are hopefull they will be able to identify people from their database of 8,000 images.
Will keep you all posted.
