Dave & Sally Report 25 Sep 2003 17:05

I know all those places. Whereabouts in Keynsham?

Sue

Sue Report 25 Sep 2003 17:09

Sally Wells Road - I used to climb over the garden wall with Dad to watch the cricket (but that was in the 1950s). Can't remember the number, and couldn't find the house when I looked in the summer. Sue

Sue, I will come if I can get there easily, don't think I have anything on on the 20th. None of the stations are near Cribbs Causeway though I don't think. If/when you come up with a definit decision I will let you know, meanwhile I will keep the date free. Ann Glos

Sue. Do you mean Wellsway. The cricket club is on Wellsay. I live on that road, about 1/2 mile from cricket club Sally

Sally I probably do!!! It was the right-hand house of a pair of semis with a steepish drive (at least it seemed it when I was little). Her name was Keeling and her husband who died a long time before I was born was something to do with waterproof macs (or so I'm told!) Sue

Marly, must admit that a weekend would be better.

AnninGlos Report 26 Sep 2003 15:57

I don't know if it makes a difference but the FH fair at Wimborne is on 23rd November. If you choose the weekend I would stay well away from Cribbs Causeway at that time of year it will be heaving. Ann Glos

Sue Report 26 Sep 2003 16:29

Ann Quite agree re Cribbs Causeway. (Anyone for a mid November picnic in the middle of the Downs?!!!) There won't be time for shopping anyway - too much talking to be done. Will you be able to make it if it's one of those weekends instead of mid-week? Sue

AnninGlos Report 26 Sep 2003 16:33

Not sure at the moment. Living away from family there is a lot of running around delivering C presents that time of year and we have to go weekends because although we don't work, they do. ann Glos

Marley I have put 15th on the calendar. If you have to have a definite number for a booking I will confirm it. At the moment I am sort of probable/definite. (not sure when we have to go to M Keynes with sons' family's Christmas presents). Don't know Bristol well enough really to say where and parking can be a bit iffy. There are pubs/ hotels around the docks area and a large pay carpark nearby (near the @Bristol museum. ann Glos
