Hi Dawn now what is the 'yuk' for? Eating a dead dog? or Not having eaten for several days? My brother in law who had recently been released from a Jap prisoner of war camp - calmly took the eye from the kipper on his plate with the remark 'that's the best part' Like you, I also thought 'yuk' But I guess if you are hungry enough???? Discovered last night that one of hubbys relatives was one of the last elected city Marshals of Tombstone, he was also the only Republican to hold office since the Earp brothers and the famous "Shoot out at the OK Corral".

Found out that my grandfather was a stone mason and worked on St Patricks cathedral in New York City. My G, grandfather was a theological student and missionery and also played the organ in a church, no one got his musical talent.

Hi, When I found out that my lot were ag. labourers from Northants I had this romantic vision of gg grandmama nipping out in the evening to meet the Lord of the Manor for a lover's tryst in a quiet rural dell deep in the forest, with deer and bunnies hopping all around, and birds singing in the trees. Then I found out she had 6 children, had her husband's uncle to look after too, and she had consumption and died at 39. All notions of romance flew straight out the window. Oh well, we can dream can't we?? Di.

And I thought all the Green Man pubs refered to Robin Hood. maybe they were (are!?) the pickup and drop off points. Maybe I wil have to spend a whole evening in one and maybe I will see the spaceship. Anyone willing to join me in the exercise? Bob

H everybody You have all just cracked me up, tears of laughter are running down my face. I do like the space ship on census night theory, it must be fairly large to hold nearly all my family as well 1881 seems to have been a very busy year for spaceships.
