Well I am a Scorpio, and I certainly don't have a sting in my tail unless someone treads on it of course! I don't hold a grudge, may not forget but certainly don't hold a grudge! I am not stubborn, but will stand my ground when I am right! I am the first to apologise when it is needed! I am also loyal but no fool! I am proud to be a Scorpio, especially as I have an Aquarian, Cancerian, three gemini's, one Capricorn, one Virgoen (?) and one definately bossy Taurean in my immediate family.

As the name I am researching is fairly unusual I have listed the lot between 1837 - 1880 and have fun analysing gender, place of birth etc. Now, another approach - analysing their birth signs! It isn't astrology - it is the effects of climate, all that physical stuff when you emerge into the world. Well, that's what I think and you just better agree with me, right, 'cos I'm a Scorpio! Actually, it's quite scarey how much I share with the other Scorpios here. How do you explain this? I have two close friends, all Scorpios, and each of us married to either a Taurian or a Gemini. That is echoed throughout my family too. Both my father and grandfather were Scorpios. My daughter, however is a lovely Leo.

I'm a Sagittarius and so is my wife. 5 years and 5 days apart. She's on teh cusp though, the 21st Dec, perhaps that explains why in some ways we are similar but at the same time very different. I'm very much like the description given by Lisa (?) above...

Unknown Report 17 Feb 2004 14:31

Perhaps I'm not a typical Saggi then - I worry about everything (but then I have a lot to worry about), although in fairness you wouldn't tell, as I'm good at staying cheerful, putting on a brave face so to speak !

me and Ray are both Virgos sharing the same birthday too. I think my mother registered the wrong birthdate, cos i am not a very tidy person, Ray is the typical, Virgo, very tidy and methodical. I am normally quiet, but can be awesome in defence of family or friends . but aren't we all like that. lol

Julie,

Julie, Report 17 Feb 2004 16:05

Oh no! another way of analysing the family tree. I'm a pig - I wonder if pigs predominate in my tree? I used to feel unhappy about being a pig, although I like them and always want to buy birthday cards featuring pigs but get worried the recipient will misunderstand. When I realised that my close friend at college, who was very attractive and glamorous, was also a pig I felt better about it. Daughter is also a pig. Another score to keep Robert!

HiHi Scorpio of course! who would want to be anything else? And before other folk say I'm being mean, I have a Libra ascendent, so I must be well balanced! :-) On a more serious note, has anybody else out there ever done an analysis of the aspects that their offspring inherit? By this I mean an aspect between x2 planets, not nessarily the same exact aspect. so for example I have an aspect Venus Trine Pluto, my Lad has an aspect Venus square Pluto. I did it for my Lad and found that he had 16 from his Mother, 16 from Me & 10 that both his Mother and I shared, he also has 16 from his Maternal Grandmother, coinsidence or is 16 a Magic number!? :-) All the Best Peter

Janet

Janet Report 18 Feb 2004 20:10

Much too clever for me Peter! I wouldn't know where to start!

Jacqui

Jacqui Report 18 Feb 2004 20:16

Are we Scorpios still in the lead? Competitive Jacqui - married to Aquarian.

Peter

Peter Report 18 Feb 2004 21:03

HiHi Janet, if you have full horoscopes for yourself, ( with one for Hubby, even better), and offspring, it will (should!) show a list of any apects between the planets, just look down the list of aspects and see if any corrispond, so for eg if you had an aspect Moon trine Neptune (Sheee what a Dreamer!), then look in Daughters list and see if she has any aspect Moon to Neptune, if so there's no 1. Sorry this wont be any use unless you have full horoscopes, I used to do them myself as I was/am fascinated by Astrology. I would have loved to be able to do more research into this particular area to see if it's just a coinsidence or if we do in someway pass some of our traits on to our youngsters. we often see things in our offspring that are very much us, but not quite if you see what I mean. I think modern genetics is starting to come round to that way of thinking. Errr, I'm waffling :-) Take care Peter

I'm a shy but stubborn Leo born in the year of the dog. My husband is Gemini (definitely - either high or low), my children are aries, leo and aquarius. the Leo child causes me the most trouble, just like me, as predicted! But I love them all.
