Tricia/Suzanne I do like the original Star Wars trilogy but it wouldn't make a top 8 for me. Have seen the prequels but thought they were a load of rubbish.

"There's only one Marty Feldman!" Blazing Saddles, ... Madelin Kahn in Stockings! yes please! :-) Woodstock, ... But Not the Digital version, the Soundtrack is so, so BAD Kelly's Hero's, ... Donald Sutherland as a WWII Hippy, Magic! Cat Ballou, ... Lee Marvin's drunken gunslinger & Jane Fonda! The Wrong Box, ... Peter Cook & Dudley Moor + Spike Milligan!!! (Why isn't this out on DVD!!!??????) Moulin Rouge (2001), ... Coz I was so,so impressed with such a genuinly creative interpretation of a classic theme. Almost impossible question to answer, as I love films so much, but I'd have to include... in no particular order... Some Like it Hot Almost Famous (LOVE that film, glad to see someone else mentioned it !!! Blade Runner Lord of the Rings Matrix (first one only, others are "pants") Star wars (the real one) Austin Powers Leon, AKA the Professional The Italian Job (original, although new one's not too bad !) the list goes on and on...

and how could I forget The Truman Show... ... and Ghostbusters. ... and the 6th Sense ... and Batman (first one). ... and Superman (again, the first one) ... and the Magnificent seven ... and The Searchers ... and... ... and...

Erin Brockovitch is my favourite.....no special effects and a true story! Loved Sister Act 1&2, Ghost, The Others and Sixth Sense But my second favourite has to be an oldie called 'Somewhere in Time' (Chris Reeve and Jane Seymour)...anyone heard of it? Aileen
