Motorists indicating right on roundabouts,WHY? you are already going right! unless you are going all the way round.... and NOT bothering to indicate left when turning off.....and indicating AFTER they have made the move.... the "driver" at traffic lights who cant be bothered to say he is going right, until the lights change......the driver that wont move forward at traffic lights preventing number two getting across, or round. and the other driver that doesnt realise that the national speed limit for the road he is on is probably 15 miles an hour faster than he is prepared to proceed at....I COULD go on......

My biggest pet hates are Tractors on the A34 during rush hour. Silly old grannies crossing the road without looking (sorry if there are old grannies on here) I hate getting into a unmade bed - if I don't make it the other half doesn't and that really drives me up the wall hate it when someone says I told you so Somone paying by card when their shopping bill is only £2. Now that I have that off me chest I feel alot better nat

Debs I lived in a house with 5 men - imagine how stressful was that!! The toilet seat was never down! lol. Naomi At last another Chelsea supporter, can't say I have come across another one on here. I lived on the bridge overlooking the ground many, many years ago and have been a supporter ever since. Kathleen

My hubby also does the loo roll, toilet seat up, wet towel on the bed... He also takes his plate or cup out to the kitchen and leaves it on the counter ABOVE the dishwasher! It's also impossible for him to wipe up crumbs when he's had toast.

LITTERBUGS!! Why can't people just put their rubbish in their pockets or bags until they get to a bin or home? Kathleen, I grew up in Putney and hubby in West Kensington so it was only natural to support them. When I moved in with him we'd walk down to the bridge. Now we live in Epsom so get the train although can only afford one season ticket now.

Isn't it interesting that by and large the majority of posts on this "whinge list" are from women ? Guess that just confirms what we men have always know - women just like to moan !!! ;-) Paul

Naomi in SW Report 1 Apr 2004 12:41

Paul, you may be right but where would we be without the "Men" to give us something to moan about? :0)

Sorry,I'm sure to upset ,annoy someone here but-- People who phone just as I'm getting in the bath, going to bed, going out or as I'm settling down to watch something on t.v that I've been waiting to see for ages and they ask if I want some new windows/Childrens books / blinds/ect. If I wanted a bag of sugar I wouldn't wait for Tesco to phone So why would I wait for someone to phone if I needed new windows.I'd be the one doing the phone calls and at a reasonable time. Chris

I am a professional driver and I have a solution for most of the driving peeves on here. ---Give yourself more time---- My conclusion, after years of watching motorists is that the people who meet all the horrors mentioned are often the ones who have no time. Bob

Chris, Register yourself with TPS. This stops the unwanted calls. I can't remember the website address but if you google you're sure to find it. Then if any companie call you can say you're TPS registered and going to report them. Naomi

I drive a motorbike partly in London so you get used to anticipating many of the dafter moves by other drivers - if you don't then you don't survive. Lol. As for other pet hates why, oh why does SHMBO get something out of a cupboard and usually leave the door open?

Maz (the Royal One) in the East End 9256 Report 1 Apr 2004 17:10

Bob/Linda - its not people in my way who I get peeved (and more!) at, its those who are a danger to other road users - this can be a jaywalking pedestrian, a cyclist who thinks the highway code doesn't apply to him or a car/bus/taxi/van/lorry driver who thinks everyone else has a crystal ball to predict their every move .... by the way, thats not 'exactly' what Karen said about dog-poo owners on the way to school this morning ..... Maz. XX Also I forgot people who throw rubbish down in the street grrrrr

Dog owners who don't keep their dogs on leads in public places, i don't mean parks etc. where they are exercised, i mean the pavement, shopping centres (why take a dog shopping?)etc. as one who is TERRIFIED of dogs you have no idea what an ordeal it is to come across one not on a lead, i also hate it when the owner says "he won't bite". THEY DO NOT KNOW THAT!!!!!! sorry but i needed to get that off my chest Tricia xx

Pumphrey

Pumphrey Report 1 Apr 2004 23:08

Dog Poo is absolutely my worst pet hate. I took my daughter out of the car aged around 18 months and she ran up to the house. Meanwhile she stood in it, assumed it was chocolate and proceeded to put a huge dollop in her mouth! I spent the next goodness knows how long trying to wash out her mouth (and you try telling an 18 month old baby not to swallow) and phoning the doctors for advice. I was nearly sick and if I had caught that particular dog and its owner there would have been bloodshed! Also I hate drivers who don't indicate, put on an entire faceload of makeup doing 90 in the fast lane and drivers who sit at 70 in the middle lane when theres nothing for miles around - totally oblivious.
