Has anyone seen or met anyone famous? The closest ive ever been to anyone famous was in Newquay a couple of years ago... it was the Blue Peter roadshow. Watched Liberty X, i was that far away... they looked no bigger than the eye of a needle!

I've met Ossie Ardilles a couple of times, he's patron of a football team in Hertfordshire that plays in the same league as my club - sat and had a cup of tea with him at half time, lovely chap if a little quiet. Have also met Nicky Butt... and seen various miscelaneous minor pop singers shopping in milton Keynes shops... oh and also walked into (literally) Adam Woodyatt (Ian Beale) in MK shops too - we've seen him there a few times I think he must live locally.

Ive met some of the England and Yorkshire cricket teams, including Darren Gough. Lovely bloke. My husband did a radio advert for Carphone Warehouse with Carol Vorderman (how showbiz!). Ive also met Kathy Staff (Norah Batty from Last of the Summer Wine) who again was really nice. Lindsey

Met Richard Branson years ago when Virgin airlines had just started and I worked in travel. He presented me with a framed piece of his trans-pacific ballon, complete with personalised handwritten dedication, and gave me a kiss! Seems like a really 'good guy'. A lot of EastEnders cast and footballers live in this area - London/Essex borders. Have seen 'Martin Fowler', 'Kat Slater' and 'Simon Wicks' in Waitrose! One evening we were at a restaurant in Woodford. As we walked in we brushed past Teddy Sheringham coming out. Within a few minutes, who should appear and sit just across from us but Paolo di Canio - complete with pants showing above his trousers. Corrr!!! My friend got his autograph for her boys and he was completely charming! Maz. XX

Paul Newman back in 1974. I was working in a hotel in Knightsbridge and he was staying there. Every morning he would go jogging round Hyde Park and order a bath full of ice cubes for when he got back - yes makes the mind boggle. Yul Bryner as well stayed at the same hotel - his preference was that he would only eat brown shelled eggs, there was a right ruckus when white eggs turned up for breakfast one morning - never saw him again. Oh and an Arabian Prince who rented a whole floor just for him and his cronies. One night he asked the doorman if he could supply some tasteful ladies of the night for some entertainment - the only thing was this so called Prince was only 12 years of age. Linda

Wow John Travolta I must lead such a sheltered boring life. I have Bobby Moores Autograph from when I went to Butlins years ago. I think it's him the one with gingery hair. And I used to drive a Taxi shared with my ex and one night he had um you know that um little tiny lady that dresses up as a boy and her husband. and another night he had Alex ferguson the manager of some football club the one that wears all the gold. I know he was married at the time but he had a young girlfriend. But no I havnt met anybody exiting and it wasnt Bobby Moore it was Alan Ball. God how boring is that. Debbie
