Hope you are all having a better start to your week than I am .After a brilliant weekend everything has gone pear shaped! My youngest has acute/chronic tonsilitus boarding on qunicy and spent all yesterday afternoon at hospital with him, allowed home as we would be there if we needed to go back to ward.Today 8.30am had to go to ward for him to have a check up to see if he could stay at home with us or if he needed to be admitted..thankfully he is at home with us At 2.00 pm today I have to take our Westie Jack to the vets for the last time..so the grave is ready and the funeral will take place approx 2.30 And it is only Tuesday !!!!!!!

At least you know your week can only get better ;-) Hope your son recovers quickly. When they are well you wish they would make less noise, but when they are ill you want them to be their normal selves again. Take care. Janice

Hi Jan, I am sorry to hear that your son's not feeling so good. My eldest had the same problem until we had his tonsils removed. It is heart breaking having an animal put to sleep, but kinder then letting them suffer. Lindyxx

Not a good week Jan. Hope the little one will soon be recovered. Sorry to hear about your little dog. better for them to let them go rather than keep them for your sake and let them suffer. But I know how hard it is for you so my thoughts are with you. Love Ann

Some days are like that: Last Tuesday I got to work to find petrol leaking from the fuel tank of my motorbike. A patch by the AA held until I started off home and I spent 40 miles wondering when it would catch fire and what to do if it did. When I rang my garage for advice I found that the manager had accidentally set himself on fire and was off work with burns. Got home to find the fire engines had just left from where 'er indoors had melted an electric kettle on an electric hob and she and daughter were in A & E being checked for smoke inhalation. Quite a memorable day.

Just to add things are still not picking up. Didn't get the job i applied for My mum has had a bad shoulder for 18 months, she saw the specialist this week and was told she needs key hole surgery on it , there is a 9 months waiting list and then it could be another 12 months before she is pain free. My mum told the specialist how much pain she is in constantly and she is looking forward to being pain free then added as she my mum does " if i live that long " as she is 73 Tom is still very poorly been up during the night each night with him because of the pain Thanks everyone for your support this week Jan
