Blimey - think I've touched a nerve!! (Geddit???) Rick mate, I already am two thirds of the way through a very large glass of Mother's Ruin (Gin if you don't know!) but thanks for the offer. Karen - dunno if I will see you or not - if I get early appointment I will send Andy up with the 'erberts. Lynda - will wait to hear from you about Sunday. Thanks to everyone - funny but the more I drink, the less I worry! Just wish I hadn't given up smoking cos it will seem quite different when I am on the pavement outside the surgery! Maz. XX |

Hi Maz, what bad luck! If you mention to the dentist you are terrified i'm sure he will try to put you at ease. My middle daughter is terrified (for no obvious reason) and recently she had to have her first filling. The dentist gave her a whiff of entinox and she was great. Dont know if they do it for adults though. |

Maz, I certainly will be thinking of you. Terrified of the dentist. Don't know why because I have never felt any pain whilst in the chair. Just think by this time tomorrow it will be over and you will be eating again. Luck, Jean x. |

Good Luck, Maz! I've got to go on Friday as my (new and very expensive)filling fell out a while back. Luckily I don't have a fear of dentists but I do sympathise. |

Maz - aw petal - I was like that a few weeks ago - then I found the most amazing dentist - in a wee village - I come out of his surgery giggling - even after getting 2 roots out. I am there tomorrow as well - getting my last filling - then it will mean 6 months til I have to go back again - Just explain to your dentist your fears - I am sure he will be sympathetic about it big hugs She xx |

Oh dear!! A large chunk of my tooth has just broken off and I am phobic about the dentist!!! AAAARRRGGGHHH!! Will have to go in the morning as the exposed bit (shivering at the thought) is painful to touch with my tongue even, so can't imagine eating. Please think of me and keep your fingers crossed that I don't have a complete breakdown in the waiting room in front of everyone. Also that the dentist doesn't find anything else that 'needs' fixing.
