Which sound irritates you the most?

Beyond all doubt the sound of a moped is to me the most irritating, especially when the young 'uns rev them up.

Living on a main road as I do the most irritating sound is the Police Car Sirens. They seem to refuse to use them correctly and frequently see it as a joke to use them very early on Sundays when there is no other traffic about. Other sounds;- Head banging music from cars with the windows open, and women using bad language! John

Right now my 4 year old screaming that he wants to go outside to play when it's pouring of rain! Sweet papers especially from Quality Street and my son's cds Thrash metal, Death metal, all sounds like a rabble to me.

The alarm going off on a nearby office (high winds or storms set if off - usually on a weekend!!) and nobody attending to it!
