I have a very small 2 bed mid-terrace house. It houses me, my husband, our 5 year old son and 3 year old daughter. Plus 4 very large black moggies. We all get along fine but we need more space and are just waiting to move! The cats are great with the kids even though hubby and they came along later than the cats did. One cat has appointed himself official "guardian" and follows both kids round. They all put up with no end of dressing up, poking, carrying, and generally messing about. When they have had enough they sneak on top of the fridge freezer out of reach but don't do it often so they must be quite happy. Angela

We live in a 3 bedroom end terrace with a reasonable garden. We have two cats, Hamish and Heather (you'd never guess i'm Scottish) and two goldfish named Billy and Ashleigh after the babysitter and her boyfriend! Unfortunately, I don't think Ashleigh is long for this world, she has swim bladder disease and I can't seem to cure her of it. I'm gutted! Pam

One rescued ginger cat called Murphy (got him a week after I came back from a visit to Ireland). He lives in or should I say owns the house. 2 grey dwarf lop eared rabbits called Misty and Moonlight who have an open hutch in daughters disused Wendy House in the garden. Several fish in the pond and lots of frogs who seem to live everywhere. And a very good neighbour who feeds them all when we go away! Jacky :-)

Hi Mary I have 2 beautiful cats, they are flat cats, as needless to say I live in a flat. They have never known any different and are very happy. They go out on the balcony, my older cat is fine out there but the other one is young and still too frisky, so she has to wear a harness when she goes out!! Lynda xx

We have one cat, a Birman called Milo, a Budgie called Wally and a garden pond with 15 goldfish in it. We live in Western Australia in a villa, which is in a village for "over 55s". I would love a little dog, but my husband thinks we have enough to look after. What do you think? Sylvia in Perth WA
