it must be such a terrible time for you parting with a house with so many memories.but what you have to remember is that even though you are leaving the house that has been your home for fifty years,your parents will be with you always no matter where you are.and you have your memories through your photos.good bless and take carex

Lorraine, Time passes, otherwise we would not all be on these boards. Take comfort in the fact that some day that house will hold memories for another family like yours. A house is only a house but your mum and dad will be yours always and cannot be sold to the highest bidder. Wishing you all the best......................Pam

Hello Lorr, What a sad time for you - Whenever I go up to Nottm. I still like to see the house where I grew up - it brings back so many memories. Some happy, some sad. Expect you have had some of both haven't you. Will you be staying in the Southampton area? Don't forget to bring some of your piccies to our Winchester do will you. Love and hugs Norah

Lorr, I know how you feel, we did that two years ago, awful feeling. so thinking of you. One tip, don't go round there to see it after the new people move in, they will have changed things and it is really upsetting. Leave i a while before you go back to look. ann Glos
