So if NTL know this hoax is going round why don't they put a warning on their Home Page? As someone is using their name to commit fraud. They seem to be getting such a bad reputation lately a little bit of customer service wouldn't do them any harm. I am an NTL user, and I would really appreciate seeing that sort of info. By they way, thanks Mike

As an NTL user I agree with Kim. They should inform us. Thank you for keeping us all up to date Mike. Regards Viv.

Thanks Mike How did you manage to contact NTL? I had the problem of a scam via the internet of £50 added to my phone bill,I have e-mailed them, spoken on the phone and written but no one has come back to me 2 weeks down the line. If I dont get a reply i am thinking of making this a bigger issue. Margaret

There was a warning on the NTL Homepage for a while about it. There is still a warning on the 'Server Status' page marked as 'ongoing'. Christel

Greeting's Margaret. . . . I was given the following tel No. by my local customer services for customer support . . . . . 0845 6500 121 ( local rate ) But I still had to press the right buttons before I got through to the right person ( hate that ) I wish you luck with your claim. . . perhaps you should get your bank involved as well, if it was to do with the use of your card details ? Christel. . . . To be fair not everone has the "NTL Home" as their home page I know I don't. . . and as you said you now have to dig for the info. . . it didn't stare out at you That's why I volunteered to put this notice on here I have been with NTL for more years than I care to remember they have always given me good and prompt service, So I'm only returning the favour. . . MIKE.

Thanks Mike I pay by cheque (old dear) and only payed less the £50,so i expect they will keep adding the money to my bill each month and i will hate that because i like to pay my bill at once and will hate to think i'm in debt. Thanks again Margaret
