Who remembers those very small silver threepenny pieces? I have two bracelets made up of these little coins. Actually the Dutch also have an old coin, similar in size, and I have an armband made of these. I'm worth my weight in silver I feel when I wear these! Sylvia

My mother must have collected a few of these coins because come Christmas time we would find one carefully wrapped in greaseproof paper in our portion of homemade Christmas pudding.

Gwyneth, What do you mean about wrapping threepenny pieces in greaseproof paper. My mother just threw them in the puds! I am still living though. Sylvia
