To all of you that answered my request, thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Dad passed away at 1.20a.m. this morning surrounded by his family. The end was so very peaceful we almost didn't realise he had gone. His suffering is now over, and I know that your thoughts and prayers helped make this a very peaceful passing. Bill My thoughts are with you and your family. My father-in-law was in the same position 10 years ago and I still remember hoping for his peaceful release and then feeling guilty about wishing him dead. It is a very stressful time for all the family, and my best wishes are with you all. Sue xx |
