IN the cold light of day, I may have been a little harsh with the "sanctimonious do gooders" bit, so I retract that - the rest of it stands tho :)

I'm sorry but all this silliness makes me want to say something my four year old little pal said when he learnt so-called 'rude words'. I'll never forget his words of wisdom... "Big willy poo bottom"!!! Tee hee. I feel better now.

I have to also be serious for a moment and say Jaqui (sorry--spelling's atro-shus!!!), you made me laugh so much I nearly fell off my seat! I agree with everyone here--some people are sensitive, maybe too much so, but they don't have to join in with the bawdier comments. The excuse that 'little ears may be watching' is pretty weak--most kids have FAR better things to do than hang out with us lot at GR! We are all 'grown ups' (apart from me and Jaqui), and we all, I'm sure, use the odd swear word or, God forbid, refer to farting and various bodily functions in our every day lives. A few times I have wanted to use the odd cuss word on here (no worse than I would use with my own parents--they said the odd bloody bugger themselves), but I have felt that I would get sent to the naughty corner by the nannies on the site. I think that, as long as the odd 'naughty' word is not directed at someone personally, and as long as we are all respectful of race, gender, sexual orientation and religion, the complainers should just sod off! Ooops, sorry, that just slipped out...
