Hi Well i guess if fred can make bread i ought have a go at baking, think i just might when i'm in the right mood, but think i'll start with something simple how about a sponge cake, it might not stick to the floor, i have enjoyed reading your comments thanks David

David, you put me to shame. It's years since I made any jam. Sometimes mine stayed runny like Fred's, but I just tried to be posh and called it 'conserve' like the French stuff! The children still liked it. From how you described it, I'd have loved to see the state of your kitchen. Good luck with whatever you try next.
