Brenda I had a good time too and enjoyed meeting everyone. Vera and I left together and as we still had our balloons, we released them on Mosley Street at 1.50pm in bright sunshie. They floated away over the buildings so I wonder where they are now? Looking forward to the next meet. Lynne

Look at the weather now, what a shame. when myself and Tracy left we saw the children standing on the corner with our balloons, it was quite spooky really. I wonder if my balloon is still stuck in the tree?

Such a shame about the weather, but I'm quite happy to know my Mam's balloon might have gone to a child! Mam was a nanny and Mother of 4, so she wouldn't mind at all. Many thanks to everyone! Love from Sal.x

well it was a day none of us will forget in a hurry - with our taxi driver nearly having a nervous breakdown and taking over 20 minutes to find zoe's hotel , to the man who saw me walk into the lounge with the balloons and think i was a stripogram, the weather being wet!!!!! was brilliant - and the buffet was good - think we should have a trip back there :-) Paul and I are going to get a small helium balloon kit and when we get Zoe down to visit we will release them here in wakefield - to make up for the ones that flopped a tad today. we will give you a total raised for Winstons Wish as soon as all the other cheques etc have arrived - thank you all for your company today - it was so laid back and enjoyable She & Paul xx

My thanks to everyone for arranging the meeting. Everything was fantastic ,including the weather - late afternoon we had brilliant sunshine, sorry you missed it again. These meetings are getting better and better. Top that one She! and you probably will. Couldn't say hello to everyone as the table arrangement wouldn't allow it, and I missed speaking to Anthony. Hope you had a good time with the Mad Manchester Maids (& Masters) Anthony. As Lynne mentioned we let our balloons and all our wishes fly away as we left. Love to all Vera
