Has any one else got tattoos and if so then what of? I have two which both of them i have always wanted. One is a small pink heart on my stomach and the other is my mums name (judith) in pink chinese writing on my lower back. i love them both but i really want another one as i think its quite addictive, but know i shouldnt as those are the only two ive ever wanted and shouldnt get it on the spur of the moment, what does everyone think??

Haven't got any tatoos, mainly because I'm a total wimp and scared it'd hurt like hell! Think it's brave of you to have one, never mind two and thinking of having a third! Amy x

i am also a whimp!!! the heart didnt hurt too much (but thats tiny) my second one though(thought i was going to pass out!!) im not sure...its not very feminine though is it!

my hubby has got one he has the english flag on his leg. i would desperatly love to have the kids names in some form, but am scared of the pain LOL and as i ahve four kids it wouldn't be a small job. Am also worried that i may not like it in yrs to come Shelli

Hi Steph, I hv'nt got any although if I was braver I would have a shamrock on my bum!! lol My daughter has three small ones and she wants more, and piercings she had a Madonna, and her belly button done now she wants her tongue pierced, I've told her no more while she lives in my house, she's 20 but enough is enough, so No MORE from either of you!! lol

I personally don't like them but each to their own opinion but please don't have another without serious thought. You like the one's you've got and that's great but I was in hospital once with a young girl having skingrafts where she had been having a tattoo removed from her forearm. The donor site on her leg was weeping and really sore and she really wished she could have turned the clock back. Don't be like her.

I'm a whimp too!! I'm thinking of having a daisy chain tattoo around my ankle for my 40th b/day next summer - but afraid that when I'm old that it will look hideous on those blown up ankles I just know I will have LOL!! I dislike the piercing and the IN thing of late staples and lumps under the skin - ewwwwwwwwww my lunch just surfaced!!! Much happiness Debi

I've got one on my tummy, just near my hip - it's a dolphin leaping out of the water! Thought I was being clever having it done on a 'fleshy' bit, till the guy at the tattoo shop told me that's where it hurts most :( He was right, of course - and it took 45 minutes - stretched out half sitting/half lying on a 'computer' chair!! Couldn't move to get off it at the end as my back had locked up. That was over a year ago for my 40th - still keep it hidden from Mum lol........she went nuts when I had my nose and navel pierced 6 years ago!!

I have six, on my arms,all quite big, and all are of the family. Trouble is, the family`s getting bigger.lol PS. Didn`t think it hurt that much.
