I have an absolute mound of ironing. I have a tumble dryer and put in what can be tumbled but still have lots of ironing. I would be up to my ears in it if I didn't have the dryer. Viv

I've been suffering from this one big pile for ages - I'm refering to the ironing girls and boys. My husband decided to treat me to a new state of the art iron, said it would make life easier - Oh the romance in married life. Anyway tried it out the other night - I'll tell you the steam just blasts out, nicknamed it geezer, it's like having a turkish bath at the same time - Mmmmm there's a thought! Lin

Well I find doing the odd bit of ironing very relaxing, mind you I wouldn't want to do it too often! My speciality is pressing trousers and jeans. I get lovely sharp creases front and back. Something I learnt in the army...creases had to be really sharp; ironing over brown paper was best for that though I can't think why. Brian :-}

I can't stand it any more, I have been trying to live with myself all week, knowing that I would have to confess, the pain of keeping this to myself is just too much, I know that no one will ever speak to me again, but I just can't go on. Here goes then I LOVE IRONING

I do mine outside on the patio when the weather is good enough,,,in front of the tv when its not,,,The essential thing to have though is a BIG glass of wine,,

Just read in the paper the average person irons 68 miles a year!! how do they know that?? Below average David
