My hubby is a true irish man, and as mentioned the Irish have a wonderful wit and sense of humour. He is a Painter & Decorator, one of my managers asked Mattie to quote on decorating the exterior of his house. Mattie went along, Pete (my boss) and Mattie were discussing whether under the eaves needed painting as they had not been done before. Pete asked Mattie what he thought, Mattie who does not like to advise people (for obvious reasons) said ' it dosen't matter to me, you can't see your house from my house'. Pete told me what he had said, a fortunatly understood his sense of humour. Mattie got the job, but can't do it - it keeps raining!!!!
