Hi Amy, Prelude-for people waiting before you arrive Processional-for you walking up the aisle Recessional-for you and hubby to walk down the aisle Postlude- for others to walk out to Hope this explains it. You need hymns that are personal to you and music for signing the register. I walked up to Trumpet Voluntary-Clarke, down to Arrival of the Queen of Sheba-Handel, signing the register to Sheep May Safely Graze-Bach. Good luck in finding suitable music Viv

I would have thought the Arrival of the Queen of Sheba would be too `exciting` to walk down the isle too. I suggested Canon in D because that's very posh and grand. Very gentle and calm to walk up the isle to. If you want a more`exciting` peice to walk down by i would suggest Zadok the Priest. You may want to have a big loud but still posh exit with something like Eine Kleine Nachtmusik First Movement.

My daughter had on arrival Handel Music for the Royal Fireworks, Jesu Joy of Mans Desiring for signing of the register and Clarkes Trumpet Voluntary to walk back down the aisle with her new husband! Good luck I'm sure whatever you choose will be wonderful. Linda

Slightly off topic but make sure all the signatures on the certificate are legible! My best man's was just a series of curves - no way could you make out any name. This will prove useful to future researchers!!!!
