I agree.... I'm not usually one to moan - honest - but joking apart I have been trying to get some ideas from the tips board and its just hopeless having to wait for so long for the page to appear. G xxx

Me too. It's a nightmare, might have been an idea to do something about the speed and errors while they had the site down. Diane

Hi G I was so fed up last night I went to bed, it doesn't seem much better this morning. Last night, I was reading one of the messages in my message box and it vanished before my very eyes, my hands weren't even near my keyboard. Love Mum xx

I wouldn,t mind betting that most of you are using internet explorer as your internet browser, and this is where the problem lies. They keep having this trouble and everything runs slow ,including gr I,m thinking of swapping to msn as my browser and removing i/explorer ,to see what happens.Fred.

Nanna Gaynor (June nr Preston's Daughter) Report 14 Sep 2004 09:07

What does that actually mean Fred? I do have the blue "e" icon which I click when I come online but it has msn written under it - does that mean my browser is i/explorer or msn? - mind you it seems to be ok now G

I also found the site very very slow yesterday, last night especially, kept getting errors loading pages, so gave up. Personally I don't think it's internet ecplorer that's at fault - most other sites load fine for me. Bear in mind that GR had serious system problems at the weekend and had to change their database server - it's quite possible that it needs a little persformance tuning.
