My place of work will be closed that day so that the premises can be used for the coffee morning. It has expanded so much that more room is needed. As I will not be working :-), I will go along. Jacky

I'll keep an eye on the local press for mine too, David. MacMillan nurses need a lot of support as this is a very stressful job for them. I understand they can only do the job for a limited time because of the 'burnout' factor. Beth

Mac Millan Cancer care are on the morning of Friday 24th September holding there annual WORLDS BIGGEST COFFEE MORNING, people and schools and business's all over the country will be participating. The Macmillan nurses and care advisers do tremendous work, not only caring for the terminaly ill, they also help support the people that are battling to survive this awfull illness, with financial support and helpful advice. I will be having my own small coffee morning in my home were friends and nieghbours will pop in, i made £220 last year, hope it will be more this time. PLEASE LOOK IN YOUR LOCAL PAPERS WERE YOU WILL FIND A LOCAL EVENT, PLEASE TRY AND ATTEND EVEN IF YOU JUST HAVE ONE CUP OF COFFEE IT WILL MAKE SUCH A DIFFERENCE TO A LOT OF SUFFERERS. THANKYOU DAVID
