Lisa, How are you feeling today? That must have been a nasty virus if you have been signed off for a week. does that mean the Dr thinks you will be infectious for that time? if so, no wonder it spreads as I am sure people don't stay away from public places for a week when theya re infected. Anyway, I hope you are feeling better. Ann Glos

A doctor told me to give the children a small amount of lemonade, just enough to cover bottom of the cup, say quarter of an inch or so. That is easier to keep down than water. Gradually increase the amount and switch to water when you can manage it. Don't be in a hurry to start on the food. We can cope without for a while and it's better to let the 'bug' clear the system rather than feed it. Hope you feel better soon.

Poor you Lisa, hope you will be better soon. One thing good for rehydrating is coke or pepsi left to go flat. Onnce you can keep food down an apple well chewed might help. did the doctor give you anything to help? ann Glos
