I do all the handy 'man' jobs in our house...hubby has a tendency to loose his temper with inanimate objects if they don't do as he say's!! I've repaired toasters, unblocked washing machines, rewired lamps/irons, I put shelves up, I've cut rust out of the car, replaced tap washers, replaced glass in a broken window. you name it.... If we HAVE to get a repair man in...I look over his shoulder to see how its done...so I know how to fix the problem myself next time! Saved thousands of dollars in repairs! Linda You just proved we can't pidgeon hole everyone :o) I thought I was on the wrong thread there for a minute...when I started answering , I was the first, now there are 3 pages! Must learn to type faster....something I'm not good at, I'll admit to it! :o)) |
