I married my pen friend. My parents met when Mum worked in a bar and Dad told his mates he fancied her. They dared him to ask her for a date. They were married almost 30 years when Dad died. So how did others meet their partners? Jane |

There was a thread about this a while back, - some interesting people have joined since, so answers could be interesting too! We met at a wedding, my friend married his friend and we've been married almost 33 years. |

I met mine when my friend and I dialled lonely hearts for a joke and laughed at the first 3 recordings then heard this really sexy voice that turned out to be my friend's night school teacher. We met 10 yrs ago today and haven't been apart since. Married 7 years ago. I haven't killed him yet! xxx A |

I met Tony first on an after church youth walk, then again at a church garden party I had my 8 year old sister with me at the time because I was looking after her. I was also going to the pictures with another Navy lad in the evening (who I 'dumped' the next day). Tony was away from home in the R Navy and his Mum had asked him to go to church, she was a methodist but he went to the baptist church with a friend. i was 15 and we have been married happily for 44 years.
