No way! I had stayed with the family of a male friend prior to the wedding which we met at and wondered how best to get rid of this new man who insisted on catching the same train as me back to our homes. He's still here though!

Met the man of my dreams at my friends wedding. He tried all night to chat me up but having had 3 years just me and the kids, I was polite but quiet. When it came to time to go I said bye to my friends brother and this guy was stood at the bar. He said "yo can't go I haven't got your number" I just smiled and left. Later that nite I got a txt saying how beautiful I was and how I took his breath away, i ignored it thinking him a typical drunk bloke on the pull. The next day I had 3 consecutive txts that I ignored and then replied to the 4th one. He came up for 1 coffee at 1.30pm and left at 4.30pm, he was back at 6pm to take me and the kids out. We have been together for just over a year now and are getting married next August. After a violent 10 yr marriage I vowed never to fall in love again but I love this man dearly and can't imagine being without him.

Can't answer this one, we don't know where we first met. Been married 33 years last Saturday, though.

Definitely!! I first met my husband when he joined the same motoring club that I was in (clever really since I don't drive!). My friend and me looked at him , looked at each other and said 'Phaaaw'! We went marshalling together on a 12 car rally and that was it. ( although a 'Do we see each other again then?' is not the most romantic offer I've ever had lol) We have been married 31 years now and yep - still love him to bits. Magsx

i walked into a room, it was packed with one thousand people or more, right across the room i only spotted one person, i pointed him out to all 8 of my girlfriends and said " see him , i'm going to marry him", LOL, next minute i lost him, later on i was walking around and this man came over to me, guess who, :-), the one i saw earlier, my hands fitted in his , we connected straight away etc, wow, even though i knew id found the right one, wanted to marry him, evetually have children etc, i kept saying to my friends we are not going to end up together, i just had this feeling in the pit of my stomach, i ignored it of course, but it was always there, my heart, body, mind and soul knew we were meant to be together, but this feeling would never go away, on my 21st he died, so did i, but i always knew deep down we were not going to be together, weird i know. at least we had 5 yrs together, better to have loved and lost somebody, than never to have been in love at all. took me years to get over it. i believe people when they say they knew it was love at first sight etc. its a wicked, great feeling to have and to own. glad so many other people out there have had it and still have it. some of my friends have never had that feeling, so to me , we are the lucky ones, no matter what the out come is. :-)
