There really are no words to describe how I feel about Ken Bigley's death. I feel totally numb, as if I've lost one of my own family. I hope and pray that his family will find strength in each other and in God at this time. God bless and RIP Ken. A very sad Pauline

May the God that I believe in give Ken Bigley rest. He died not for peace, he died not for his faith, although his mind must have been under the most extreme torture. He died because that is what the Koran ( quaran) instructs its followers to do. To show your neighbour how ruthless you can be. I am a Christian and as far as is humanly possible I will hold on to my Christian beliefs. I will teach all nations, and speak to all humankind, but I will never, ever ever forgive those Bastards who took his life in the name of the allah. May almighty God bless you ,Ken Bigley, may His adorning light shine upon you, and in their saddest moment may God give his eternal comfort to his family. John McDonald

With respect, the Koran does not condone barbarity any more than the Bible does. I am not of the Islamic faith, but I am sure that many if not most people of all faiths condemn the kidnappers actions. They are no more representative of the true meaning of their faith than the Christians were at the time of the Inquisition. Please, don't let this truly horrific act have any of us making sweeping statements. Most people of all faiths are good and kind. Only the fundamentalist few twist things for their own depraved agendas.

I saw all this on the news last night and still can't beleive there are such vicious people out there, well I can because it's been going on for thousands of years. My thoughts are with his family, at least he's at peace now. Jo.

Still in disbelief, even though we didn't know the man. As Sue from Oz and Margaret say, the scum that did this are not animals, they are HUMAN BEINGS. It makes me so sad when people refer to filth like that as animals. Of course, that scum are such brave warriors, they don't even have the guts to show their faces! Trying hard not to hate that scum, because that's what they want. It makes me question my faith at times like this. Rest In Peace Ken, your ordeal is over now.

Glenys...you question your faith at times like this? I am not ashamed to say I am a 'non-believer' Times like this CONFIRM MY NON BELIEF. ( My heart goes out to all the victims of these uncivilised barbarians, no matter what their faith or nationality and mainly the family who will suffer to their dying breath with the dreadful memories of how their loved ones died. RIP Ken Bigley
