I am featured on the 2nd in the series 19th October, as my cousin Amanda Redman is the celeb in question. The TV researchers used my information and contacts, built up over a number of years. I noticed a comment on another board, about featuring "real" rather than known TV personalities...I have to say that although based around the featured person, these programmes do show unknown family members, all of which have history and stories to tell. Bearing in mind that next weeks programme features mainly our Grandmother's line, and that that is only a small part of the total Family Tree I have established, I have to say (without being biased!), that the personal stories, emotions, and memories, from the contributors are amazing, as I am sure each of the forthcoming 10 part series will be. Each programme is unpredictable, and shows often moving journey's into each's own family history.

Wow I guess it will be what I am expecting then. I was just saying on the other thread that I hope this wasnt going to be a big let down and was going to be enjoyable. I have to admit that whilst I enjoy researching my own line I dont get particulary excited about the family tree's of celebraties! Will look forward to second one more now though! :-) Shaz x

Me too. I shall be forcing my parents to watch to see if they will perhaps take more on an intrest in what I do.

I tried sticking a few of the surnames of the celebs into the LDS site just to see what part of the country etc. they came from. I tried a whole site search for Baddiel - and there's not one person with that name in the whole world!

Hi Trevor Will be watching out for you - I was completely enthralled by Bill Oddie's show tonight, cats out - partner warned not to speak to me so I didn't miss a thing and it seems Amanda's will be even more interesting. Its definately a date for next Tuesday! Regards Maggie

I saw a clip of this yesterday.... are you the chap who when Amanda calls a relative she say's "Hi it's Trevor's cousin Amanda calling"? I can't wait to see this one and the rest look like they could be just as fascinating too!! ;O)
