I work as a Resource manager for Vodafone, which sounds grand but it isn't.... I co-ordinate staff to work on certain IT projects.... a bit like running a temporaries desk at a recruitment agency.... which is what I did many years ago.... FULL CIRCLE me thinks!! :O)

I work part-time in a library - its my dream job, what I have always wanted to do! Jenny - it would suit you as I know you love to read too. In my previous life (before I saw the light!) I worked for 13 years in Business Travel - extremely stressful and very long hours - then had a part-time job in an Estate Agent - didn't like pressure there either! The only other jobs I would love to try would be working in an archive, being a professional researcher and doing archaeological digs! (Not all at the same time ...) Maz. XX

Part time Clerical/Information Worker at a Disability Rights organisation. I am also a qualified trainer and so have been asked to deliver some training which seems to have taken off. I am doing an all day session tomorrow on the Disability Discrimination Act. Because it is a charity the job isn't secure; it all depends on getting funding. My current post is funded by Comic Relief and the funding is due to finish next year. I am hoping they can find some additional money because I love working there and would be sorry to leave. My partner has just got a job as a social worker, Older People's Team. Mel

I am a retired accountant. When I left, I promised myself never to add 2 and 2 together again. Trouble is I can't help it, its addictive. After retirement, I retrained as a counsellor and worked for Wycombe Counselling Service for 10 years - much more satisfying than accountancy. Now I'm a layabout, apart from being Hon. Sec. to a Cardiac Rehabilitation Group. Len

Sort of secretary / receptionist. Better half was lecturer in tourism at Burnemouth university, took early retirement through ill health; trained for ordination and was ordained into non-stipendiary URC ministry 1993, not currently in pastoral charge. Joy (PS Me married to a clergyman - that would have made me laugh a few years ago!! Still, he's the same person as he was before.)
