Val - I am on day 6 and still no fags. Hubby now has to go outside to smoke but is supporting me by doing so. I had been smoking for 19 years and this is the first time I have given up, not even tempted at the moment but have got a nicotine inhaler from Doctors incase temptation gets the better of me. |

Hi Joanne, keep it up, it will be worth it. Glad you have an understanding husband. Only use the inhaler if your nerves are really, really screaming. Do not use it more than once every four hours and when you do, inhale as deeply as you can, just once, hold for two or three seconds and then exhale. Then cough to get the last dregs out of your lungs. Good luck, Bernie |
