My husband is half-Welsh and I remember us visiting his cousin a while ago. There was a football match on tv. The cousin couldn't stand the tv commentary, so he had the sound down and was listening to commentary in Welsh on the radio. I just remember two phrases mae Ian Rush an ar gol machine [Ian Rush is a goal machine] and Kevin Ratcliffe...whack...dim problem! [Kr..whack...no problem] nell

Thanks Bryan, I have allways said you can not beat the Welsh for there singing coming from a big Ruby family I should no, my hubby was in Austria many years years ago (skiing) and he said there was a group of welsh guys and when they started singing it would give you goose pimples. Love Debs.

a BIG THANK YOU to all,that have added to my thread,i only wrote it,because i felt so far away from home,i did'nt really expect any replies. marion,my aim is still to go home next year,but being off sick for so long,the bills have got out of control...now ime back full time,ime trying to pay them off,as i wont go,still owing money. bryan.
